To say I love perfume would be an understatement. If you walk into my room right now I know I have upwards of 20 perfumes that are in my current rotation. Keep in mind this is not counting the “inventory” of bottles that I have lying in wait. I am always rotating in and out scents based on the season, the occasion, and yes, even the outfit. I had a friend once say that she feels incomplete without earrings. For me, if I forget to wear perfume just throw the whole day away.
Finding the right perfume is pretty easy for me but I know that isn’t the case for everybody. Not many people know that perfume can change depending on the body chemistry of the person wearing it. Basically, something that smells floral on me can smell spicy on someone else. I have helped plenty of women at the perfume counter find the right scent for them. Come to think of it, Macy’s and Nordstrom owe me a couple of commission checks!

Style Tip: When wearing perfumes make sure to spray it on pressure points (writs, neck, and elbow crease). It will make the scent last longer!
Tory Burch Bel Azur 100 mL, $130
This smells like what summer by the beach should smell like. A airy, crisp , and fresh scent that never gets old. One spray and you are on somebody’s beach instantly! Get two bottles because you will go through the first in no time.

Wonderlust Eau Fresh Eau de Toilette 100 mL, $106
This is the little sister of MK Wonderlust. A lighter version but still just as good as the original. Ironically, this perfume smells like the bottle looks. A pale but bronzed sunset. I like that this a spicy note so it’s perfect for date night.
Outfit Suggestion
Coach Floral Eau de Parfume 30 mL, $60
This is a perfect scent for a summer wedding. Its floral(duh!) and sweeter than the others. Whether the guest or bride, you are bound to be one of the best smelling people in the room.
